Hours for engineering consulting services. I am certified as an "Engineer-In-Training" by the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in the State of California. This is different from a Professional Engineering license, so I am not qualified to sign off on documents related to seismic issues and certain land disputes and geologic issues. However, I do have the skills and training to design features for your property that are in compliant with local regulations (for instance, water retention ponds for agriculture). You could then take these designs to another engineering firm to have them reviewed, or directly to the overseeing agency to have them approved.
